The Skarda family settled in Kellnersville, WI in 1861 and the land has remained in the family since that time. As farmers and blacksmiths, the early ancestors prided themselves on living off the land. The maple trees located on the Skarda property have been producing syrup for many years, and now it has been bottled for your enjoyment. In 2006, the Skarda grandsons made a promise to keep the land in the Skarda family for many years to come, and built a log cabin from the very trees that were planted 50 years earlier.
